Dear Joe,
First, I want to apologize for taking so long to acknowledge your generous
gift of the use of your truck and men last December.
I want to thank you for the donation of the use of your truck and crew you
sent with it to pick up our kitchen cabinets in Shirley, MA and deliver them
into the building we were pushing to finish at our Blue Hill, Dorchester, MA
construction site
In our efforts to help create clean, decent affordable housing for people
who might not otherwise ever be able to afford a home, we rely on
volunteers for a multitude of jobs, and your men and truck saved us from
the stiff rental and mileage fees we would otherwise have to contend with,
and in addition we were able to keep our supervisors on site helping
volunteers instead of driving all over the landscape when we were pressed
for time.
All too frequently we need to contract and pay out our hard raised cash to
pick up donated material, so your donation is particularly appreciated.
